In accordance with Google Play's User Data & Account Deletion policies, DivBuddy allows users to permanently delete their account and associated personal data at any time, both directly from within the application and via this web request page.

1. How to Delete Your Account In-App (Recommended)

If you currently have the DivBuddy app installed on your smartphone, deleting your account is instant and automatic:

Open the DivBuddy app.
Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Under the Account identity section, tap Delete account.
Review the confirmation dialog. Choose whether you also wish to purge offline local data stored on your device.
Tap Permanently Delete Account. If prompted, complete the Google security verification.

Upon confirmation, your Firebase authentication record, user profile, email mapping, and owned shared groups are removed immediately from Google Cloud servers.

2. Web-Based Deletion Request (If App is Uninstalled)

If you have uninstalled DivBuddy and cannot access the app, you may submit your account and data deletion request using the form below:

Irreversible Action: Deletion of your account is permanent. Once processed, you will permanently lose access to any shared groups you owned in the cloud.

3. Data Retention & Deletion Breakdown

The following table outlines what user data is deleted, what is retained, and the applicable retention period:
